Gambling permits
The Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder (GGL) shall be assuming responsibility for the majority of its tasks that are described in the State Treaty on Gambling (GlüStV 2021) with effect from 1 January 2023 as planned.
It is planned that responsibility for the tasks shall be assumed by various federal states and their gambling supervision authorities during the transitional phase prior to 2023.
